Welcome to the Coldwater River Watershed Council homepage. If you have an interest in the Coldwater River, its watershed or river protection, you've found the right place. The Watershed Council is actively working towards improving the health and quality of the watershed including the creeks and rivers which empty into the Coldwater River. This includes monitoring the water quality, temperature, flow and life dependent on the watershed. It also includes monitoring erosion and the results of flooding. The Council provides educational materials and information to those who are interested in learning more about streams, rivers and the watershed which supplies them. The Council has a number of projects which can use the assistance of volunteers. There are often updates to the Data section as new sampling data comes in. Be sure to check back often to see how the health of the river is progressing. |
